6:30 AM wake-up calls. 9 hour work days. 100+ degree temperatures. One of
the most rewarding experiences of my life. Let me explain. Earlier this year, in June
more specifically, I traveled to rural Kentucky with some friends and other members of

<Tab/>At the same time, I felt good about what we had accomplished. The feeling I
got after seeing the finished roof was one of the best ever. Nothing beats doing
something for a good cause under tough circumstances and looking back on it with
pride. My dad was right about things working out. As he says, he's getting smarter
as I get older.
