Today, students are turning to the movies for help in understanding Shakespeare's plays. The language he uses usually confuses the heck out of people and they can't understand what is going on. In the movie "Othello" we watched in class, they cut out some of the scenes that are in the original book.

I felt that they did an ok job on the movie. But I understood it better than the book because of putting the book scenes to images and after reading it I knew what was going to happen anyways so I could interpret the words that they were saying to what was going to happen and link them together.
