ordinary person must face. This is unique because of his position of power. Although, it was not planned Othello can easily still be observed and related to by a very modern audience. He is still an African American man who is in a high position of power and certain individuals do not want him there for certain reasons. He is forced to overcome hardships and the situation ultimately leads to him taking his own life.
