Paradiso-Dante

FREEDOM In "Paradiso", Dante is led by his guide Beatrice, and ascends through the heavenly spheres of Heaven, where he is granted a vision of God's heavenly court. …or enslaved to sin is our choice. It is made clear, however, that our will should follow the love and will of God. We have to understand that God gave us this gift of freedom, and that we should accept and love Him as a way of showing our gratitude for what he has given us. After all, we can only seek true freedom if our will is in harmony with the will of God.
