Talking God, by Tony Hillerman, is a novel that is about a conflict between a woman named Catherine Morris Perry and a Native American named Henry Highhawk. …to home. <Tab/>I think the author intentionally wrote this piece the way he did in order to educate ignorant people. When I read it, I truly learned how the Indians feel when their ancestors are taken from their burial grounds and displayed in museums everywhere. Now that I have thought of it in this light, I feel much more educated about the views that the Indians have on certain things.
