Poker machines have become a part of our society. Go to any gaming lounge and you will find bright lights, loud sounds and ching ching ching. …these machines?' By banning poker machines we will forfeit thousands of careers and a multi million dollar yearly revenue. I think the cost for our community is far greater than these machines and if we have to sacrifice the employment and revenue this industry has created, so be it. A human life is far greater than money no matter how much so why keep these machines around when all they do is destroy lives?
