Potato Famine

Patrick McDowell walked with his head down, on his way home from visiting his soon-to-be wife. The famine had taken their families to the point where they had to separate. As Patrick and Kerry both stepped aboard the ship, they thought about how their lives would be bettered in America. With hopef ul thoughts, they waved good-bye as the ship pulled out of the harbor.
