…He valued education and founded the University of Halle in 1692. Like his father Frederick William I also held education very important, and this gave him reason to build thousands of schools for peasant children. All of these social characteristics lead to well- rounded people who fueled the power of Prussia. Thanks to the outstanding leaders who valued military, politics, and social factors they were able to make Prussia a strong and respected force in Europe.
