Purpose of OSHA

There are many different purposes of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Some of which I will write about in this report. One main purpose of OSHA is to guarantee, as far as possible, safe and healthy working conditions for the American workers. It is supposed to cover serious hazards for which there are no exact standards in place, so that employees are always entitled to a fairly safe workplace. <Tab/>Because of the numerous deaths caused by mistakes in the construction industry, OSHA has established a purpose. As I wrote earlier, the purpose is that they want to guarantee, as far as possible safe and healthy working conditions for the American workers.
