At the end I knew I couldn't change who I am and accept it that I'm Asian and be glad for who I am. I think the poem describes a lot about how life was for child that was not White growing up in a society of racism and prejudice. Our society would be much better if we could put everything racial behind us and start a whole new clean slate where everyone is equal.
