Cynthia is a 23 year old Sergeant in the Marine Corps. She is from a Mormon family, but is not religious herself. She has never been married, but is in a serious relationship with someone who is not actively religious either. She plans to make the Marines a career. …believe in some higher being so that they have the comfort in knowing that someone is helping in their daily lives and will be there for them in the after-life. This provides an extra amount of civility throughout the world in that they not only have to be careful for the local laws, they must also be concerned with the laws of their higher being in fear they may not be given the better after-life.
