Review of a notated score
I am going to write a review of the score I have been given, this is the third movement of the piece Romanza written by the composer Vaughn Williams.
I will review this piece by going through all the aspects of the notated score such as the rhythm, tempo, harmony, tonality, melody, dynamics, genre, instrumentation and timbre.

gives section one a very warm feel. Also the highest part of this section is the single cor anglais playing a solo part, this emphasises the deep sound of the chords on the stringed instruments.
In section two of the piece the stringed instruments now each play their own melodies giving the timbre a much more thick and woven feel.
I feel that the above qualities contribute to a piece which invokes a good atmosphere.
