form of existence. This new form of music ran opposed to everything that the television had deemed acceptable. Weirdness was embraced through such people as Little Richard. Rock 'N' Roll and its black origins, its words, style and implications threatened white parental society. Through the Beats and Rock 'N' Roll, the rebellion against suburbia was started. Both of these cultural phenomenon punched a gaping hole in 50's style conformity. Rock 'N' Roll was labeled subversive.
