Through the years, women have been regarded differently in each society that has taken rule over an area. Some societies regard women as goddess-like figures, where women are the most holy creatures and looked up to by everyone. a few basic rights, not even priviledges. Although each of these societies were different, they were still alike in this manner. However at least in the Buddhist and Hindu societies women were given rights, whereas in the Confucian society, the women were deprived of everything and forced to complete their duties. Each society had a different value for women, but they were all forced to complete goals, and qualifications to be considered an honorable woman.
