During English in Term 1, we read and studied Shakespeare's Play 'Romeo and Juliet' and watched two film interpretations of it.
As we all know the play is about Romeo, the young heir of the Montagues, and Juliet, the daughter of the house of Capulets, and their love, which defies the hatred between their families. to be a very impractical story. I had found it foolish how the characters acted simultaneously with their emotions and often with their idea of what fate has in store for them. Though now, I realise why the play was written this way and the ideas that Shakespeare incorporated into it. I guess somewhat admire this wondrously written play by Shakespeare but nevertheless, eight weeks of 'Romeo and Juliet' is almost 'inauspicious' to our sanity.
