To get theentire picture of what really took place and detailed view of the type of people that made up the sections and what roles lower class or plebeians really played in the assemblies it is necessary to read the critique of Soboul's work. Soboul took a very broad topic and did his best to condense it into a single book, but without the critique, you only get half the picture.
