John W. O'Malley, S.J. the author described the society which was found by Ignatius during early 1500s. The Society was officially approved by Pope Paul III on September 27, 1540. In the sixteenth century, the Society of Jesus is considered as one of the factors that helped forming Catholicism. …I did not quite get what the author was trying to tell me as his thesis statement. I pretty much liked when he talked about the schools that how the Jesuits at that time felt about it. It was very interesting to know. I hope the author writes something very interesting next time. I was reading some parts over and over because it was not interesting to me and almost made me fall asleep twice.
