…we may actually be wrong, it is amazing what we might find. Heinlein is very straight forward in his beliefs and it is true that he feels the military is a valuable asset of our society, but this does not undermine the value of his statements. I can only hope that his prophecies of our democratic society collapsing because of its own blind beliefs will refrain from coming about. We are our own worst enemy.
