…amp;lt;Tab/>The legacy was started on March 29, 1921, when legislation signed to create the New Jersey State Police. On July 1, 1921, Governor Edwards appointed Colonel H. Norman Schwarzkopf to be the first Superintendent of the State Police. The Legacy he began still holds true today. Devotion to our code: "Honor, Duty, and Fidelity." Even though I was unable to make the trip, I look forward to visiting the museum in the near future.
