The Romans made a few changes to their government and agriculture but unfortunately, these modifications were standing on the edge of the greed of the officials. The strength of agriculture deteriorated because of the devastation the Punic Wars had caused. Therefore, commerce developed and slaves revolted. Once the peak has been reached it cannot get any higher and the ending results in a demise of something that was once great.
