SC 1-The Effect of Caffeine on Reactions
Variables
1. Sugar taken
2. Exercise
3. Activity
4. Food taken
5. Pulse
Prediction
I will be investigating the pulse before and after taking coke, which contains caffeine. I predict that as you take caffeine it will speed up your reactions. I think this will happen because caffeine is a stimulant. This drug increases the blood pressure and stimulates the central nervous system, this also stimulates the action of the heart and lungs.

a screen and amounts of caffeine can be easily measured. It can tell us how fast it can react n how much is needed. The results that I have is enough to be certain because most of them follow the same pattern, this also indicates that it is quite accurate. There was also a control experiment, this also proves my prediction right, because decaffeinated coke was used and this actually slowed down the pulse rate.
