The Hearst Castle is a home so big that it took 32 years to complete! The home has 165 rooms built on 165,000 acres of ranchland. This architectural masterpiece also has two pools, three guest houses and a zoo.
The Hearst Castle is located in San Simeon, California, near the Santa Lucia Mountains. The Hearst Castle overlooks the Pacific Ocean and San Simeon Bay. Its nickname is ''The Enchanted Hill,'' and is now a historical monument.

The Hearst Castle is a huge house which was supplied with one million dollars of European art per year! The home has many statues, which are mostly on the 127 acres of gardens. The Hearst Castle is now preserved by California State Parks. With all that money and riches, I would love to see what the current Hearst house looks like now.
