An icy depth to below 0 degree temperatures, the Mariana trench is the deepest known trench to mankind. Most of the deep sea is in international waters, and there is only a limited amount we can do to protect this largely unknown but sensitive environment. We may in fact (quote from Aliens of the deep) "Come in contact with aliens." Overall I personally found this topic to be quite fun. I hope you got a good insight on what the Mariana trench is like.
