Through costume the directors have shown the sleek elegance of the Victorian era, the rough culture of medieval life, and the stylized fashion of New York City. They have shown us a Hamlet that can love, a Hamlet that is unconcerned, and a Hamlet that doesn't know what he wants. Using the same fifteenth century script each director has created their own unique interpretation of the dramatic piece.
