…seen but not many people believed him. He decided to write a book entitled Description of the World which described many of the sights he saw. Marco thought that if people read his stories instead of hearing them they might be more likely to believe. But no only did Marco Polo's book convince people that he was not making things up, it inspired many of the great explorers that came after him, including Christopher Columbus.
