The life of Anne Sexton

Anne Sexton was born Anne Gray Harvey on the 9th day of November 1928 in Newton, Massachusetts. She was a very disturbed poet whom wrote of her experiences with depression and mental illness. Sexton, a confessional poet, was an internationally known figure. Although this is true not all critics were positive. In fact they felt she bared too much in her poetry. Anne's favorite statement was " Rats live on no evil star" because it is a palindrome which means it reads the same right to left and left to right. Sexton is noted for the use of palindromes.
