The similarities and differences between two movies of the play Hamlet

William Shakespeare's Hamlet has been remade a number of times in film and in plays. I recently watched two movies of Hamlet directed by different people. …took a lot of the seriousness away from the movie. But, it was still my favorite version. Hamlet is one of Shakespeare's most famous plays. Kenneth Branagh and Franco Zeffirelli's versions of Hamlet are just two of the many versions there are out there. I am sure that Hamlet will continue to be remade many times. I hope that directors keep the basics of it, but add new things to make it new and refreshing.
