As compared to Jesus, the people in those days ignored his beliefs, and such that, people discriminated him like he was different from the rest, even though he was speaking the truth. Jesus's story goes same way with Jeremy aka Powder, because people are blinded by the truth as he just trys to explain the truth to the people around him.
