…they had partaken in. I feel especially sorry for poor unsuspecting Jack, who never thought of his mother to be so ruthless, so juvenile. But I think this is a lesson that had to be learned; if it hadn't, Jack might have poor qualities in his character. Some lessons are just harder to learn then others. Like the old saying goes, "Experience is a hard teacher- she gives the test first and the lesson afterwards".
