Have you ever wondered how many mothers today that do not longer have the 'mother figures' or do not do their duties as real mothers? I bet, you wouldn't guess it right or not even close. In 'The Rocking Horse Winner', D.H. Lawrence created a character of a mother who was cold, abhorrent, negligent, and heartless. Her mental pressure of being dissatisfied, becoming fretful, and not feeling fulfilled with what she had already achieved

happiness where basically, joy in their heart just can be naturally achieved by having a healthy, warm, understanding, mother and children relationship. And to get into this point, they are sometimes required to suppress their own egos and indulge their kids with love. Finally, I will say that personally, I find myself strongly against these types of selfish mothers and, I am really hoping to be a good mother for my children in the future.
