…opinion Kafka is a more disturbing and "what happens next? kind of novella. However The Guest is relatively less tragic and pessimistic about the existance. I link my feelings about these stories to the different of attitutes between Kafka and Camus. Humanism and ethicism of Camus on the one hand, aestheticism of Kafka on the other hand has grown out their personal life stories, ethic identities, colonial situations, I mean from the life in general.
