violence in our country. Children as young as ten are in no way adults. Simply placing violent children in jails is not the solution. The kinds of environments that turn children into killers are the real problem. Why be satisfied punish offenders when the crime can be prevented. How can the most advanced nation the world allow such poverty and desperation to breed that crime becomes commonplace and children cannot escape the effects of violence?
