The encyclopaedia documents certain historical events. The purpose of this documentation is to have a more dispassionate and less jingoistic view of historical events. The hope is that these unbiased views will show people what really happened in the past. This is not what is always achieved. …While the second version seems to support the Canadian forces, as it believes the Canadian nationalism was a direct result from the wars end. What I learned from this assignment was the importance of being neutral when writing historical events. It is important to be neutral so that there is little dispute on what actually occurred in the past. I think the first version has done this well, at least better than the second version.
