<Tab/>The American Revolution was started by a series of events. The French and Indian War caused great debt for England, so when it came time to pay back the money England turned to the colonies. The unnecessary imposing of acts on the colonists, the lack of representation in the Parliament, and the embargo of trade with other countries all made the American Colonists mad.

the others. These Navigation Acts meant that all trade with other countries was banned. Colonists were also only allowed to use British ships for trading. Because of these restrictions on trade the colonists started to smuggle products in and out of America.
Unjust Acts, Taxes, and Trade were the ignition for the American Colonist's mind to dream of freedom. These three major events made American Colonists so mad at Britain that a revolution was started.
