Included in these factors were aesthetics, education, architecture, religion, social class, and politics. Perhaps it can be said that it was not the factors alone which effected the change in popularity, but the time period in general which changed those factors beforehand. Perhaps, as times change these factors again, another golden age of stained glass will be on the horizon.
