What's your opinion of good manners, especially at school?

Good manners are a basis of polite society and there is no substitution for being polite. Our manners, how we present ourselves and behave in our life, make us feel comfortable, confident, and capable in the home, the school, the community and in the workplace. …people fail to treat their teachers, school staff, and classmates with respect. We should treat others in the same way we would like to be treated. Also consider the harm we can cause by doing or saying thoughtless and unkind things - e.g. "How would I feel if someone pointed at me, and started to lough?" Common courtesy takes little or no effort and can be our second nature if we only allow it.
