Through out the movie, her sexuality becomes her strongest tool and is seen many times in a mirror, getting ready to perform and to go and seduce men. Her persona is split between her old life being the married, Madonna housewife and her new life as the singing, rich seductress. In this way, the use of mirrors brings about a film noir icon.
