Many of the women who have left a good impression on the world have done so while faced with adversity. All in all, Trotula Plataerius, Florence Nightingale, and Dr. Catherine Hamlin are all women who have made amazing medical advances despite the challenges placed in front of them. Most women will at one time be faced with an obstacle that will determine whether or not each woman achieves greatness. How each woman deals with her obstacle will decide what kind of legacy she leaves for women to come.
