The suicidal missions that the Japanese deployed pended a serious threat to American soil. The United States only option was to intimidate the Japanese to concede to our technological power and end WWII. Dropping Atomic bombs was a necessary action, and had I been President in 1945, I would have made the same decision as Harry Truman.
