Would I have A-bombed Japan?

During the peak of WWII, if I were in President Truman's position, I would have deployed the atomic bombs against Japan. Considering the moral and strategic-political perspectives, as well as a great deal of pressure from government officials, there was not much of a choice except to use an untested weapon that had powerful capabilities. …on the major cities of Japan. Japanese Imperialists seemed not to stop at nothing to maximize their countries borders. The suicidal missions that the Japanese deployed pended a serious threat to American soil. The United States only option was to intimidate the Japanese to concede to our technological power and end WWII. Dropping Atomic bombs was a necessary action, and had I been President in 1945, I would have made the same decision as Harry Truman.
