…but disappointment dampened my anticipation. Emotions and feelings had drained in the flow of time. Eccentric silence engulfed me, killing me with every air I exhaled. The unexpected happened: relations ended; bonds broken and I isolated in the world with no weapon- no motherhood. There would be no looking back now. I could say goodbye to my lost baby, but I could never say goodbye to my thoughts. I had lost it, lost it all.
