Lord of the Flies A group of boys has been dropped on a tropical island somewhere in the Pacific, because of their plane being shot down. A nuclear war started; life everywhere was being destroyed. Ralph, a strong likable blond, is excited about the fact that there are no responsible adults around to watch them. The boys have the whole island to themselves. Piggy, who is overweight, asthmatic, and practically blind without his glasses, trails …

…like they would a pig and Ralph continues to run. Eventually he is like a cornered animal and they smoke him out. The fire soon spreads through the island. At the very last minute when all hope seems lost, he falls to the feet of a man in uniform. Ralph is saved. While the officer is upset at the boys and there behavior they return home with the constant thought of poor Piggy and Simon.
