…Cry. The Characters of Roll of Thunder, Here My Cry had to deal with a lot of adversity such young kids must not even teenagers and they had to be faced with racism. A lot of African Americans have dealt with racism around this time and oddly enough people kept their composure when needed. Between Athletes and or what ever they have had it. Not only African Americans, but Native Americans, and Hispanic people too.
